Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas
![]() If you are devotee of our past travels, you may remember that last year we literally stumbled across a whole brick carved wall carved into the side of a building in Concordia, Kansas. To refresh your memories, click on THIS LINK - (scroll about mid-way down) to see what we found along the highway. This year we made a point to stop in to the Cloud County Historical Society and visit with Tammy Britt about the project. As we mentioned last year, this is the largest sculpted brick mural in the US. Tammy was kind
enough to give us a complete explanation as to the history of the
project. Thank you Tammy! |
